Cancer Fact Sheets

Introduction

The "Cancer Fact Sheets" describe the incidence and the relative survival of the most common tumours in Belgium. Each report groups the most recent statistics on incidence and relative survival according to age, gender and region: absolute, age-specific, gross incidence and standardised incidence figures, cumulative risk, average age at the time of diagnosis, TNM staging, trends over time, 5-year relative survival estimates and survival curves. The data allows comparative studies between the different Belgian regions as well as between different countries.

A detailed explanation of the aforementioned terms can be found here.
